The theme of the 2023 China Intellectual Property Week is "Strengthening IP Protection and Bolstering Comprehensive Innovation". This theme aims to promote a culture of respecting knowledge, advocating innovation, integrity and law-abiding, and fair competition.

Horizon Intellectual Property Week Initiatives

Its primary responsibilities are to develop standards and patent strategies, identifying key patent areas, and conducting critical patent reviews. The committee also issues patent rewards to incentivize innovations in targeted areas. By performing these critical functions, the Standard and Patent Committee ensures that Horizon Robotics is well-positioned to succeed in the competitive technology industry and to bring its ideas to the commercial market.

Systematized Software Compliance

The second area of focus is systematized software compliance. Horizon Robotics has established a Software Security and Compliance Working Group, which is also a virtual organization that is based on the Software Engineering Technology Management Group and combines roles in technology, compliance, and security.

The group's main responsibilities include:

Developing software compliance management guidelines and red line frameworks

Building the infrastructure for third-party software

Deciding important third-party software usages

Promoting compliance awareness for third-party software
